Hear Here Herstory a project a project co designed by Fool Size Theatre, People's Heritage Co- Operative and Friction Arts.
Commissioned by People's Heritage Cooperative, Friction Arts and Everything to Everybody.
Supported by National Lottery Heritage Fund and Arts Council England .
Over the course of 9 months Joanne ran Arts and Well being workshops. Using Visualisation, Meditation, herbs, poetry, story telling, print making and sewing as tools to share and create.
We drew from representations of Ophelia in the Shakespeare Memorial Archive to talk about strength in the face of gaslighting and oppression.
Pictured is a wearable community storytelling Textile installation, designed and created by Joanne with input from 300 women and girls across Birmingham and Solihull.
